Redux tends to emphasise its colour, lighting, and texture modifications as well as changes to other gameplay elements, but it hides a lot of post-processing work using motion blur. Unlike the GTA V Redux overhaul, which is much more complex, MVGA is a collection of separate smaller mods that tie in together to produce a very different look and feel. A few of those mods completely changes the look of the game, and one of the newest ones launched this year, “ Make Visuals Great Again“, has had some optimisations added in to improve dynamic range, a 4K skybox, as well as some new weather effects like tornadoes. Like other games which saw mods greatly extend their lifetime, GTA V is going to be around with us for some time, and the extensive customisations will surely keep gameplay fresh until GTA VI. If you’re a GTA V player on PC, you may have been dabbling in some of the mods available for the game that adds in new weapons, new vehicles, and even an offline LSPD career “campaign”, where players are hired by the Los Santos Police Department to patrol the city streets and combat crime.
